On 1st of May after the press conference for the latest Bollywood movie "Bhoothnath" BNA-Germany had the opportunity to interview Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla. Mr Bijay Jaiswal and Mr Ankur Jaiswal made the interview:

BNA-Germany: How your role in this movie is different to others and why?
Juhi Chawla:
In this film, I play Banku’s mother who is 8 year old and very naughty who gets in trouble always in School. There is all sorts of moments in the film, funny, naughty, dramatic and some emotional.   I could relate all this to my own as I have my own kids at home and it helped personalising in different situations in the film.  It is a very enjoyable film.

BNA-Germany: How was the bond between you and the boy? Did you feel like his real mother sometimes?

Juhi Chawla: Yes I tried to behave like that on the set.  Like the way I treat my kids. Sometimes what I could think of what I would do with my kids at this time.

BNA-Germany:  How similar is your character in the film to the real Juhi Chawla regarding relationship to children?
Juhi Chawla:
Like I said I kind of drew from my own life and my own experience with children. Even there is a point when the child is badly hurt, the mother is shocked and she doesn’t know what to do and she breaks down.  She thinks that she had such a bad fall that she might loose him.  To do those scenes I thought that how would I feel if it happens to my own kids and how would I react.  I had to think of that and act accordingly.

BNA-Germany: How would  do you react if your own son or daughter tells you that he can see and speak to a ghost?
Juhi Chawla:
I really would be as I am in the film: “What nonsense, that there is nothing like it”, because I would think that the child is fooling or scared of something and making it up.

BNA-Germany:  You don’t believe in ghosts?

Juhi Chawla: Well, not really because you live in a city full of people, full of light but again when it is lonely and dark then every little noise spooks you.
